Im Back!!!!

Hey Aliyah again!! So i went to the movies today and saw the funniest movie! You dont mess with the Zohan! Its was really funny but i had to close my eyes on some of the parts that were kinda gross. But it had an element of truth in it. The movie was about an Israeli soldier who moves to America to become a hairdresser. And here he realizes that Palestinians dont care about what the Israelis do and they dont hate each other here. So, well you have to watch the movie to know what im talking about. But it was kinda cool. I wouldnt recommend it for little kids and not really teenagers either. I also had talent/model/singing/dance auditions today. I did horrible: I stuttered and couldnt stop messin up! The singing part was actually good. And I have to go back tomorrow for callbacks. But tomorrow i also have church. But callbacks r after it so im ok. I also met a really nice guy today. Tell you more tomorrow. Bye! Luv ya, AK

Im New So Take It Easy On Me

This is my first blog ever. My name is Aliyah. I want to write about how hard it is for a christian teenager to live a clean life. I go to a public school where everyone knows everyone and everyone's business. The faculty is nice but has no clue what's going on. Did I mention I'm the only have black kid there? The whole school are rednecks. I try very hard to be taken seriously. It's unbelievable how ignorant these kids are. I got asked if I or any member my family had shot someone before. My reply was, "No, would you like us to start?" That wasn't very smart of me because the next day no one would talk to me. The school year has ended for us. Summer not all that easy either. I have such a busy schedule: softball state tournament, birthday party, church kamp, wedding(my dads, Rodney Knott), and family reunion. Ugh! But back to the subject. How do I live a clean life? I have friends at school who cuss and it rubs off on me sometimes but that habit is now gone. i don't know why I started but I know i stopped and that's the thing that counts. The reason i Stopped is because i guy i liked didn't cuss. It's amazing what you would do for someone you liked. But i don't have anymore time today so ill write more tomorrow. Bye! Luv ya, AK
